Meow's Postcard Exchange

Back in early April, 2006, I put out a post on my main blog, asking if anyone wanted to join a Postcard Exchange ... this is still open. If you would like to join this exchange, just email me with your snail-mail address, and I will send you mine by return email, and there we go !!! Complete discretion is guaranteed ... your postal addresses will remain private and confidential, as (I hope) mine will to you. This blog is to display all the wonderful postcards I have received.

I received this wonderful postcard from Karen. It is of the Mount Timpanagos Wilderness, which lies between American Fork and Provo Canyon, in Utah. The card says that "A key feature of this wilderness area is Mount Timpanogos. With a summit elevation of 11,750 feet, the mountain is the second highest peak in the Wasatoh Mountain Range. A network of hiking trails on the mountain's eastern side offers scenic view of alpine meadows, lakes and waterfalls." It looks like another beautiful place ... so many of them, I really want to do some more travelling !! Thanks, Karen, for the beautiful card.

It does look like a beautiful place. I really don't leave my little town very much so I don't have to many post cards.

hmmmm, now i want to visit Utah, but it will take me about six weeks to get a Passport, now that the U.S. INSISTS that "the good neighbours to the North" cannot enter their country without one; well, so much for congenial relations. They want our water and access to the tar sands, but treat us with hostility....

sorry, i'm on a bit of a rampage....

i bought a postcard for you yesterday Meow, so i will mail it in the next couple of days,

cheers for Sunny (at last) Surrey.
